I know this has been asked many times before; but when did you know that you were a mega 3OH!3 fan?
My story: In 2008, Don't Trust Me came out. I honestly never heard of it until my friend made me listen to it and watch the video. And I'm ashamed of saying this, but I thought they were stupid haha. Later that year, it played on the radio a lot, so it got stuck in my head for a while. In 2009, I came across it again and thought, "I've seen this video before... maybe they aren't bad." So I looked up all their songs. I hate swearing, but they made it sound epic haha.
Since dont trust me came out :)
I became a fan in the fall 0f either 07 or 08. i was ridin with my ex and his friend. the friend had the cd and blared the music. it was fun to race to the song punk b****. to be honest that band was the only positive memory i have of the relationship
I heard My first kiss while recovering from surgery and while on some super strong pain meds... It was literally the most awesome thing I had ever heard, but I kinda forgot about it until about 6 months later when i started working out and someone suggested it as a good song for moving. And once I listened to it again i downloaded everything. Thanks to 3oh!3 I lost 20 lbs in a month and a half :)
In 2009, in 8th grade, i got a forward text that had Dont Trust Me in it. i got the part when they go shush girl, shut ur lips... in a fwd txt msg.. and i was like ok. i dig this song. So i looked it up to listen to the whole thing and was like wow i like this song. so i downloaded it and looked up tons of more music. Then my 9th grade year I saw the video for Double Vision and Hey.. i thought ok. nice band but can they do better?? (shameful i know). I almost doubted them.. but when i heard I Can Do Anything 2 days before Christmas, i knew they were gonna stay in my heart forever. i was hooked and about 3 hours after i heard that song i had it memorized and downloaded..
And now im here to stay :)
I became a fan when I was still in my diapers.
I first heard of them when my bff showed me colorodo sunrise about 2009 and I still love them and my bff doesn't even know who they r anymore.
Yeah I wasn't a fan until like 2009 ish. But I still know every word to all of their songs :) And I was just gonna say that 2nd grade is a lil young to start listening to 3OH!3 lol

2007, second grade. lol the red hot chili pepers broke up and then I found 3oh!3. Ive been natsessed ever since!
i bought 2009or 2010 the cd almost alice...there is the song follow me down feat neon hitch....few mounths later i hear starstrukk feat katy perry.... and then i searched on youtube :) (sorry for the misstakes, i am from germany)
in like mid '08 i used to listen to little of their old stuff and new upcoming stuff (like Don't Trust Me and Starstukk). the music started to hook to me so i downloaded more and from then they became my favorite band. i guess parents dont really appreciate it when their child is listening to dont trust me out loud and singing along in public haha XD
now i have all their songs and saw them at warped tour, ahhh sweet memories :) lol
I discovered them later ...well wayyy later ... I saw My First Kiss on the TV last year with my sister and my cousins, I first thought it was a cool song and it got stucked in my head because of (thanks to...) my cousins who kept singing all day long "My first kiss applelame like this" no I didn't just make a mistake, it's the way they sang it non stop cause they didn't know the right lyrics haha. When I came back to France I searched for other 3OH!3 songs and heard Don't Trust Me, I liked it and then ironically said "It will maybe become my favourite band" ...
Then I discovered Starstrukk featuring Katy Perry, I first hated that song but after several listenings I became kind of addicted ! I told some people I like their songs but I always added that "I like but I'm not really a reaaal fan !" ... See the difference between last year and now...hahaha I would like to say more things but it would become too long ... I love 3OH!3 so much and in case if you didn't noticed it yet...I'm a big fan now :)

I first heard of them when Don't Trust Me came on TV a few years ago, I didn't pay much attention to it but their name struck me&the helen keller part was stuck in my head so I listened to it on youtube& started to like it.Then I checked some other songs out&to be honest,liked none of them much...but for some reason I kept listening to them&eventually liked them too...but i guess i really became a fan of them when my sister got into them,she kept showing me new songs&interviews&stuff...& I became a huge fan of them sometime between Want&Streets Of Gold
awww thats so cool! and im obsessed with kingdom hearts to! haha ur not the only one. it stinks that you missed those opportunity to meet them! but i bet they'll go back to new jersey :)
So, nobody really knows, but I was mad late on the 3OH!3 train. Like in 2008-2009ish when Don't Trust Me came out, I put it on my iPod. I did the same with My First Kiss came out. My best friend tried to get me into them, but I'm also mad stubborn. I had a chance to meet them at the Hot Topic in my local mall, but like I said, I was't into them. They also came to the Six Flags in New Jersey, but again, I wasn't into them. I have a mad obsession about this game called Kingdom Hearts. Most people know it, Google it if you don't. Anyway there's just some videos of the cut scenes in the game that are dubbed and edited to make into a comedy thing. There were 3OH!3 songs on them and it just caught on to me like last November. So I missed every opportunity to be into/ see them... But I'm never giving up ?
